El dia 14 de diciembre se publicará en formato de LP el álbum de debut de North East Ska*Jazz Orchestra originalmente editado en formato CD en el año 2015.
Stompin' & Rollin'recoge diez reinterpretaciones de clásicos del jazz y del swing, realizadas al estilo jamaicano de los años 60, desde el ska original al rocksteady o el reggae. Con este trabajo, la big band del Triveneto (noreste de Italia) presentó su propio espíritu a través del calor de la música jamaicana, enriquecida por la elegancia de la música de baile de la era del swing.
En los temas de Stompin' & Rollin' hay dos importantes colaboraciones: Mr. T-Bone (Africa Unite, Bluebeaters) y Olly Riva (Shandon, Olly Riva & The Soul Rockets) que se unen a las voces de Freddy Frenzy, Rosa Mussin y Michela Grena, a los diez vientos y a la sección rítmica de esta joven big band.
El disco se ha grabó en el Studio Jork de Koper (Eslovenia) en marzo de 2015 y fue mezclado y masterizado en The Volcano Lounge, Sherman Oaks (California) por Brian Dixon (ex The Aggrolites).
En los temas de Stompin' & Rollin' hay dos importantes colaboraciones: Mr. T-Bone (Africa Unite, Bluebeaters) y Olly Riva (Shandon, Olly Riva & The Soul Rockets) que se unen a las voces de Freddy Frenzy, Rosa Mussin y Michela Grena, a los diez vientos y a la sección rítmica de esta joven big band.

Stompin' & Rollin' includes 10 remakes of jazz and swing classics performed in the Jamaican style of the 60's. From original ska to rocksteady and reggae, the young big band from Triveneto (north east Italy) conveys in this work energetic enthusiasm for Jamaican music, stylishly enriched by the coolness of the dance music of the golden era of swing.
